Hartmut for the tough ones. PiepEi Hartmut is one of Brainstream's three PiepEi classics and has been in the range since the beginning.

Each PiepEi in the classic series is a patron saint for a corresponding degree of hardness and announces this with a melody. PiepEi Hartmut is responsible for the hard-boiled egg. You could say "anyone can do hard-boiled", but that's not really true. Because too hard means unattractive colour and crumbly at some point. Who hasn't experienced this in hotels and restaurants around the world? With PiepEi Hartmut, the egg is perfectly hard-boiled. Still nice in colour and easy to cut. Technically, of course, the PiepEi Hartmut also works according to the clever PiepEi principle.
