As the name suggests, Merino Silk is spun from soft, extra-fine Merino wool and shiny mulberry silk. Mulberry silk is the absolute best and finest silk available, and the combination with extra-fine Merino wool makes Merino Silk a truly wonderful yarn quality. The high content of mulberry silk gives the yarn its beautiful sheen and adds extra durability. The silk also provides a natural drape and a lovely flow for your knitted items, while the Merino wool adds extra softness and a slightly woolly appearance.
