You can position it directly under the grinder, so the desired amount of coffee is ground straight into the dosing cup. With the help of the cup, weighing the amount becomes easier, as the cup can be placed directly on the scale. To fill the coffee into the portafilter, you place the portafilter upside down on the dosing container, then turn the whole thing 180 degrees, and the entire amount of coffee is now in the basket. The dosing cup is suitable for portafilters with a diameter of 57 mm, 58 mm, and 58.5 mm, making it compatible with most professional espresso machines featuring an E61 brew group.
