Moccamaster coffee machines are popular worldwide and known as the best filter coffee machines in the world. This didn't happen overnight, of course. All Moccamaster coffee machines are still handcrafted in the Netherlands, just as they were 45 years ago, and each individual machine is tested by Technivorm.

The temperature switch on the hot plate features a full circle, maintaining a temperature of 80° to 85° C for 6 to 10 cups, as well as a three-quarter circle, where this temperature is maintained for less than 6 cups.

The glass carafe with the mixing lid and integrated funnel eliminates the need to stir the coffee before serving. This way, the temperature is retained longer, and better mixing is achieved.

The filter holder of the KBG, KBGT, CD, and CDGT models is equipped with an automatic drip stop system. The filter holder automatically closes when the coffee carafe is removed. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that the carafe and filter holder are in the correct position.

In all models, the main heating element is turned off after the brewing process is completed. For models equipped with an auto-off switch, the hot plate automatically turns off after 2 hours.
