All Miele canister vacuums have a small metal thread integrated into the handle that acts like a small lightning rod, preventing static discharge between the device and the user. The Miele Complete C2 and Complete C3 vacuum cleaners feature a protective plastic bumper strip that runs all around, safeguarding both furniture and the device from accidental collisions. When Miele vacuum cleaners are turned on, the selected power gradually increases, protecting the electrical network from overload. All Miele canister vacuums are protected from overheating by a temperature limiter. If the airflow path becomes blocked—such as by bulky suction parts—the motor automatically shuts off for safety. After resolving the issue and allowing for a cooling period, the device is ready for use again.
