The DEX filter ensures an even extraction and better crema, ultimately leading to a better taste.

This 18 g filter is suitable for bottomless portafilters or portafilters with a spout that have a height of 24 mm. It fits perfectly on 58 mm portafilters.

DEX stands for Deep Extraction, and the filter is closely related to extraction, hence the name DEX filter. The number and size of the holes in the bottom of the filter have a direct impact on the extraction of the coffee. These holes are referred to as Total Open Area (TOA). The DEX filter has 872 high-precision filter holes that increase the extraction rate and improve the crema.

The DEX filter features straight walls and a flat bottom, which leads to optimal pressure distribution when tamping. The rectangular arrangement of the holes ensures an even water flow, and the holes are tapered, resulting in better extraction.

The entire filter is made of stainless steel (AISI304), making it very robust and durable. It is easy to clean and resistant to corrosion and oxidation.
