In contrast to glass moulds, the glaze on ceramic moulds remains permanently beautiful as no food residues are baked on. Unlike coated metal moulds, glazed ceramic does not contain any harmful substances that can outgas at high temperatures. In addition, glazed ceramic is absolutely scratch and cut resistant and conducts the heat from your food to the outside much more slowly than aluminium, for example.
