Ludwig Lock Lye cloth green

For authentic lye rolls and beautifully brown lye pretzels, you need lye solution. The rolls dipped in it should have already fermented and formed a fine dough skin to prevent the lye from penetrating the dough. This works best on a dirt-repellent and germ-reducing lye cloth. This cloth also has marked lanes, allowing it to be folded between the rolls.
