The Dual Inverter heat pump tumble dryer has two smaller cylinders instead of one large one. This allows more refrigerant to be compressed in the same amount of time, which improves the dryer’s efficiency. Furthermore, the Dual Inverter technology makes it possible to save either time or energy. The heating element is no longer used to dry the laundry; instead, the refrigerant is used, which has the advantage of allowing drying at lower temperatures.

The heat pump tumble dryer features an automatic self-cleaning condenser, which is automatically flushed with water one to three times per cycle. This means the condenser no longer needs to be cleaned manually, which also reduces the risk of injury (such as cuts from sharp edges).

Sensor Dry optimises drying performance. The sensors detect the moisture in the clothes and automatically adjust the drying time.

With the LG Smart ThinQ app, users can start or stop the tumble dryer whilst on the move and check its current status. New programmes can be downloaded to the appliance via Wi-Fi. In addition, minor issues can be resolved automatically using Smart Diagnosis®’s quick self-diagnosis feature.
