The NoFrost technology reduces humidity in the cooling compartment, prevents frost from forming on food, and eliminates the buildup of ice layers, making manual defrosting mostly unnecessary. NoFrost appliances are designed so that cool air circulates through all compartments via a fan, moving from the cooling fins and returning to the cooling section at the end of this cycle, where it settles as frost. A heater periodically defrosts the cooling fins and directs the meltwater out of the appliance into an evaporation container. The warm air generated during this defrosting process does not reach the food without the fan, ensuring that the food remains cooled.
