Convenient, significantly lighter than conventional ironing boards, and equipped with a unique ironing surface – this is the Leifheit Air Board S Basic. Its special cover with Thermo-Reflect technology reflects steam and heat from the iron instead of allowing them to escape through the ironing surface. The resulting two-sided ironing effect smooths laundry from both the top and bottom simultaneously. To make setting up and storing it effortless, the ironing surface of the Air Board S Basic is made from an ultra-lightweight special plastic. This makes the Air Board S Basic lighter than any conventional ironing board made of stretched metal. The 110 x 30 cm ironing surface rests on a stable, absolutely secure frame that flexibly compensates for uneven floors. It can be adjusted to a height of up to 88 cm, accommodating any body size. The ironing board is equipped with a fixed iron rest. Due to the Thermo-Reflect technology, this ironing board is specifically designed for use with standard irons and steam irons. For the use of steam ironing stations, Leifheit recommends tables from the Air Board Express series.
