The Mineralbalance filter cartridge from LAICA maintains the natural balance of mineral salts found in tap water, such as calcium and magnesium, while reducing unwanted substances like certain heavy metals. Additionally, it lowers the levels of chlorine and chlorine compounds, such as trihalomethanes, as well as some pesticides and herbicides, if present in the tap water. The naturally occurring elements calcium and magnesium in the water are not significantly altered by the filtration process. The overall average hardness of the water filtered throughout the entire lifespan of the Mineralbalance cartridge shows no significant change in relation to the water hardness before filtration. The tests were conducted by accredited laboratories.
