Note
The Marceau jug is made of stoneware with reactive glaze. The completely handcrafted glaze makes each piece unique, enhancing any table setting.

In this process, various glazes and metal oxides are applied: After an initial low-temperature firing, the ceramicists apply metal oxides to the still porous material, depending on the desired final result. Subsequently, another glaze of a different color is applied, which highlights the color of the metal oxides. The final color and texture of the effect glaze depend on the firing temperature and duration, as well as the thickness of the individual glazes and their application method.
