The Gogain series consists of stoneware with a crackle glaze. This glazing technique, developed in Asia in the 16th century, is entirely done by hand in China. To achieve the crackle effect, the ceramics are immersed in water immediately after firing. The significant temperature shock leads to cracks and a metallic appearance.

The color, crack pattern, and final shape of each piece depend on the temperature, firing duration, glaze thickness, and application method. The completely handcrafted glaze makes each piece unique, beautifully showcasing your dishes.
