The Gogain series is made of stoneware with crackle glaze. This glazing technique, developed in Asia in the 16th century, is entirely done by hand in China. To achieve the crackle effect, the ceramic is dipped in water immediately after firing. The significant temperature shock causes cracks and a metallic appearance. The color, crack pattern, and final shape of a piece depend on the temperature, firing duration, glaze thickness, and application method.

The completely hand-applied glaze makes each piece unique, beautifully showcasing your dishes.
