Product details

The Shin Santoku features an extremely hard Z212 ceramic blade that stays sharp twice as long as other ceramic knives due to an innovative manufacturing process. It has a dense and smooth blade surface that allows for precise and ultra-thin cuts. Since ceramic does not transfer metal ions, it is completely odorless and tasteless. The ergonomically shaped handle of the Shin Santoku provides control while cutting. The knife has a slight curve in the spine, which adds extra comfort. It is particularly suitable for vegetables, fish, meat, and fruit. The Shin series is the fourth generation of ceramic knives from Kyocera and is produced in Japan.
