Filling:
1) Open the front flap.
2) Fill with salt, pepper, or spices.

Adjusting the grinder: Turn the lower knob clockwise for fine grinding and counterclockwise for coarse grinding.

Grinding: Move the lever handle back and forth.

Cleaning:
1) Some spices are oilier than others and can clog the grinder. Grind coarse salt to clean out residues and neutralize spice flavors.
2) Hand washing is recommended.

Tips and usage:
1) Avoid moisture; do not use over a simmering pot.
2) Do not grind cloves or anise, as they can damage the plastic.
