High quality lever mechanism with ceramic grinder.

Filling:
1) Open front flap.
2) Fill with salt, pepper, or spices.

Adjusting the grinder: Turn the lower knob clockwise for fine grinding and counterclockwise for coarse grinding.

Grinding: Move the lever handle forward and backward.

Cleaning:
1) Some spices are more oily than others and can gum up the grinder. Grind coarse-grained salt to clean residue and neutralize spice flavor.
2) Hand washing is recommended.

Tips and usage:
1) Avoid moisture; do not use over a simmering saucepan.
