The Colori+ paring knife from Kuhn Rikon features a stainless steel blade that is ground on both sides and precisely shaped for its versatile applications. The blade is heated in a furnace at over 1000°C, which not only makes the steel harder but also flexible and corrosion-resistant. Afterward, the blade is polished and hand-ground on both sides. Each individual knife receives its final sharpening from a specialized blade sharpener, a highly skilled craftsman who has mastered the art of blade sharpening over many years. In addition to extensive practice and precision, the sharpening angle is crucial for the quality of the knife: With its acute blade angle, the Colori+ paring knife remains ultra-sharp for a long time and is also excellent for all preparation tasks in the kitchen, such as chopping vegetables, peeling an apple, or slicing cheese. Thanks to its double grind and coating, the knife glides effortlessly and accurately through food. The non-slip handle and blade guard provide added safety.
