Kuhn Rikon Colori+

The COLORI+ paring knife from Kuhn Rikon features a rust-free, double-edged blade made from Japanese stainless steel, precisely shaped for its versatile range of uses.

The blade is heated in a furnace at over 1000°C, which not only hardens the steel but also makes it flexible and corrosion-resistant. Afterward, the blade is polished and hand-ground on both sides. Each individual knife receives its final sharpening from a specialized blade sharpener, an exceptionally skilled craftsman who has mastered the art of blade sharpening over many years. In addition to extensive practice and precision, the sharpening angle is crucial for the knife's quality: With its acute blade angle of 14° on each side (double bevel), the COLORI+ paring knife not only remains ultra-sharp for a long time but is also excellent for all preparation tasks in the kitchen, such as chopping vegetables, peeling an apple, or slicing cheese. The double edge and silicone non-stick coating allow the knife to glide effortlessly and accurately through food. The non-slip handle and blade guard provide added safety. Furthermore, each knife undergoes strict quality control.
