Product details
Made in Switzerland, the uncoated frying pan is perfect for searing high-quality cuts of meat such as beef, pork, and veal. It is also excellent for preparing a crispy, flavorful Swiss rösti. The material offers outstanding heat retention and even heat distribution, ensuring that heat is spread evenly across the entire cooking surface of the pan, resulting in balanced cooking results. Meat pieces become crispy on the outside while remaining wonderfully juicy on the inside, thanks to the Black Star cast iron frying pan.
The Black Star pan by Kuhn Rikon can be used on all types of cooktops, including induction, gas, ceramic, cast iron, electric, and halogen, as well as in the oven. This versatility allows you to sear meat at high heat on the stovetop and then transfer it to the oven to finish cooking at a lower temperature.
Using this special pan on a gas grill or charcoal grill also provides unlimited cooking enjoyment. Preparing a vegetable stir-fry or serving crispy fried potatoes, seasoned with salt and enhanced with rosemary, will make your mouth water. Additionally, it is easy to fry, cook stews, and even bake cakes, such as a Tarte Tatin, in the Black Star pan.
All products from Kuhn Rikon's traditional Swiss production undergo strict internal quality controls and are thoroughly tested in their own laboratory before hitting the market. All products made in Switzerland are subjected to 100% inspection. The Black Star comes with a beautiful textile storage bag that ensures both the pans in your household and the Black Star itself are well protected.
