This egg timer has no hands. The EI-TIME model from Küchenprofi is equipped with a sensor and a colour-changing element. The sensor measures the temperature, the colour-changing element picks up the heat just like your breakfast egg. During cooking, the timer changes colour from outside to inside, from bright red to dark chestnut. You can read the degree of hardness on the scale and wait for the perfect moment to remove the egg from the pan. Clever: the timer takes into account how many eggs and how much water you are using. This ensures that everyone at the table gets the right amount of egg.
