The Nespresso Pixie impresses with its surprisingly small and compact design and offers a variety of clever features. It has a pump pressure of 19 bar to bring out the fine taste and aroma of each Grand Cru, as well as a thermoblock heating system that reduces the heating time to about 25 seconds. The automatic shut-off function ensures that the machine turns off completely 9 minutes after the last use, with the option to extend this period from 9 to 30 minutes. It has a low energy consumption of an average of 0.072 kWh per day. The simple operation is done at the push of a button, and the cup programming allows for individual filling amounts. The flow stop function automatically shuts off to prevent overflow of the espresso. Used capsules are automatically ejected when opened and fall directly into the capsule container, which has a capacity of about 9 to 11 pieces. The removable drip tray adapts to different cup and glass sizes.
