Kai Shun

Handy all-purpose knife DM-0701 from KAI of the Shun series. It is made of 32 layers of corrosion-resistant steel around its core. The 18 cm long blade has been refined with a Damascus pattern using a special process. Its blade impresses with a hardness of around 61 HRC, a convex grind, and manual hollow grinding. Peeling, cutting, serving, or crafting small works of art – all these functions can be performed with the Shun all-purpose knife. Cut your food with ease and without fatigue.

The KAI knife features a 10.4 cm long handle made of maple wood, sealed with resin. The Shun Classic achieves optimal grip through its chestnut shape, typical for Japanese knives. The handle elegantly combines the feel of wood with the durability of plastic. The latter particularly enhances robustness and improved resistance to moisture. The knife’s guidance and balance are stabilized by the continuous bolster.
