Kähler Hammershøi

Hammershøi series. Elegant table decoration in memory of the eponymous painter and ceramist Svend Hammershøi (1873-1948): Hans-Christian Bauer was inspired by his creative period at Kähler Design at the beginning of the 20th century. While he retained the characteristic fluting of the surface, he modernised the forms of the models as carefully as possible. Moreover, Hans-Christian Bauer expands the striking design of the famous vase with further simply elegant accessories, for example a candleholder or a salt and pepper mill. In this series of tableware, Kähler Design supplies an extremely easy-grip spice mill: the typical flute of the porcelain head is ribbed, which makes it much easier to turn and thus grind the internal ceramic grinder.
