The stylish Hammershøi series goes back to the draughtsman, painter and ceramist Svend Hammershøi. In 1893, he started to work at Kähler - and remained loyal to the workshop until his death in 1948! This series thus also honours his artistic life's work. In a modern interpretation, this series expresses Hammershøi's preference for voluminous vessels and vases. And of course the characteristic feature must not be missing: The distinctive grooves are skilfully staged on all the products.
