The board is made from steamed beech wood sourced from sustainable forestry. The steaming process reduces internal tension, making the wooden board more durable and less prone to warping and cracking. Additionally, this process gives the wood a noble, darker color. The wooden board is food-safe oiled and was engraved in Switzerland.
