KNX object controller in dark painted aluminum with an integrated bus coupler and button interface. This 4-fold controller does not include a rotary knob for setpoint adjustment and is tamper-proof from the outside. It supports full functionality from ETS 3.0d or higher. It belongs to the ETS product family of physical sensors and is designed for temperature control in individual rooms within KNX installations. Installation is compatible with device boxes according to DIN 49073.

Product features include the measurement of room temperature and comparison with the set temperature. Setpoint specification is achieved by selecting the operating mode, which includes comfort, standby, night operation, and frost/heat protection. The controller supports both heating and cooling operations with basic and additional stages, and it operates exclusively via the bus. The button interface features four inputs or two outputs and two inputs, suitable for window contacts, buttons, LEDs, and more. The inputs can perform functions such as switching, dimming, blinds control, light scenes secondary control, and providing brightness or temperature values. An external temperature sensor can be connected as an option.

Technical specifications include KNX medium: TP 256, KNX nominal voltage: DC 21 to 32 V SELV, and a maximum KNX current consumption of 7.5 mA. The connection is made via a terminal. The ambient temperature range is -5 to +45 °C, while the storage and transport temperature range is -25 to +70 °C. The output current is 0.8 mA, and the input and output cable type is J-Y(St)Y 2 x 2 x 0.8 mm, with a maximum cable length of 5 m. For the temperature sensor, the maximum cable length is 50 m. Caution: If cables with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² are used, a switch junction box should be utilized.
