While other salt and pepper mills often leave behind remnants, excess ground salt or pepper falls back into the Milltop mills after use. The trick: the grinding mechanism is located at the top of the mill. This inverted design prevents crumbs on the countertop and dining table. The mills are made of plastic, the grinding mechanism is ceramic, and the mill is easy to fill thanks to a large opening at the bottom. To grind, simply turn the mill upside down and twist the base. The grinding coarseness can be adjusted by turning the stainless steel lid. Visually, the two mills differ in color: the salt mill is in a light gray, while the pepper mill is in a dark gray.
