Hermex Outdoor Solar Fan

The sun is beating down and you’re searching in vain for a shady spot or a cooling breeze in the park or whilst camping. On hot days in particular, a breath of fresh air is a real blessing. This solar-powered fan in yellow (dimensions: 52.5 cm x 20 cm x 48 cm, weight: 3.6 kg, power: 15 W, protection class IPx4) gives you exactly the refreshment you need outdoors at a picnic, on a campsite or by the lake – regardless of whether there’s a power socket nearby.

What makes this outdoor fan special is its flexible charging option via a solar panel (40 cm x 32 cm x 1.6 cm, power: 20 W), which plugs directly into the fan. For optimum performance, we recommend an angle of 30–35° for the panel in summer and 60–65° in winter. Alternatively, the solar fan can also be powered and charged using a mains adaptor (cable length 1.4 m). You can use the floor fan whilst it is charging – whether powered by the sun or mains electricity.

The brushless copper DC motor operates efficiently, whilst the three aluminium fan blades generate a powerful airflow with a reach of up to 8 m. With 12 selectable wind speeds, you can adjust the intensity precisely to suit your needs. The built-in 5200 mAh lithium battery provides a running time of 6–48 hours, depending on the setting, whilst operating at a pleasantly quiet 40 dB. The camping fan, which can be swivelled through 120°, allows for flexible use anywhere in the room. A protective grille in front of the rotor blades enhances safety and can be easily opened for cleaning, whilst vibration-damping foot pads provide the fan with a stable footing on almost any surface. The carrying handle on the back makes it easy to take with you. With a USB-A port (5 V/2 A) on the back, you can also charge other devices such as your smartphone or tablet whilst on the move.
