We would like to point out that due to the EU Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament, which came into effect on January 1, 2018, we had to limit the angle of the thermostat on-site (approximately 90 degrees) to comply with the requirements for the environmentally friendly design of individual room heaters; otherwise, the device could no longer be sold as a wall-mounted unit.
Due to this limitation, the device can no longer heat a room to a "comfortable temperature level for humans" (but only up to a maximum of 16 °C), which means that the product will then fall outside the scope of the directive.

This means that in rooms above 16 °C, the device will not turn on at all, and therefore the indicator light will not illuminate.
This has no effect on the actual function of the device, which is to keep a room frost-free. This limitation is described in the operating manual.
