The Barro plate, designed by Portuguese designer Rui Pereira, is part of a tableware collection that brings the warmth and beautiful simplicity of terracotta to the table. Barro means red clay in Portuguese and symbolises the designer's appreciation of the traditions and uses associated with this ancient material. The rolled edge of the Barro plate, combined with its soft feel and proportions, conveys a sense of stability that makes the plate comfortable to use. Made in Portugal from hard-wearing terracotta, the Barro plate is glazed in a variety of high-gloss colours that can be combined in countless individual combinations. The plates are supplied as a set of two.
