The Gütermann Maraflex sewing thread is an elastic quality thread specifically designed for sewing stretch fabrics. With a seam stretch of up to 80%, it allows for the creation of flexible and shape-retaining seams that adapt to every movement. This sewing thread is ideal for lightweight to medium-weight knits and elastic woven fabrics, such as jersey or fabrics with elastane. Maraflex can be easily used with home sewing machines and produces stretchable seams in a straight stitch appearance, without the need for an overlock or coverlock sewing machine. Using Maraflex simplifies sewing round necklines, hem seams, and cuffs, while finishing is unnecessary for non-fraying fabrics. Made with the innovative Micro Core Technology® (MCT®), this sewing thread offers high quality and durability.
