Product details
Güde Knives
Güde's traditional manufacturing in Solingen is the inventor of the serrated edge for bread knives. Güde knives are forged from a single piece of Solingen steel and are handcrafted and ground, with a hardness of 56 HRC. The handles are made from old oak barrels, olive wood, or POM. There is a special series of hand-forged Damascus knives with 300 layers of non-corrosive Damascus steel and a hardness of 61 HRC, with handles made from desert ironwood (petrified wood).
Güde Paring Knife
The Güde X764/13 paring knife has a blade length of 13 cm. Paring knives are known for their versatility: the medium-point blade is ideal for peeling fruits and vegetables, as well as for cutting, garnishing, and cleaning. Thus, paring knives are excellent all-rounders that should not be missing in any kitchen.
The knives in the Alpha Olive series feature handles made of grained olive wood. The selected woods for the handle scales are between 100 to 500 years old and come from southern European olive trees that have become too old for oil production. The very hard and minimally shrinking wood guarantees, like all Güde knives, a very versatile range of use.
