With additional heat sources such as sunlight or tiled stoves, the room temperature rises quickly, causing conventional temperature controllers to turn off the heating. Since warm water underfloor heating systems typically have long heating-up times, this can lead to relatively low floor temperatures and potentially cold feet. The FIT's minimum limit prevents the floor from cooling down too much, maintaining a base warmth in the floor. This minimum temperature can be individually adjusted.
