The connection cable of the combined sensor, standard at 15 m, can be extended up to 50 m with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² according to VDE 100. When extending the connection cable, it is advisable to use a numbered cable. This facilitates troubleshooting in case of a malfunction. When installed in cable ducts or near power lines (low voltage > 50 VAC), a shielded cable must be used.
