Thanks to Air Multiplier technology, a strong and even airflow is generated, providing pleasantly cool air. The AM08 is 35% quieter and has a 15% lower power consumption compared to its predecessor, the AM03. With the energy-efficient DC motor and the sleep timer function, power consumption has been further optimized. Additionally, Dyson Cool fans include a Helmholtz resonator that absorbs sound. The AM08 comes with a remote control for turning the device on and off, setting the sleep timer function, and adjusting 10 precise airflow settings as well as the oscillation of the air ring. The remote control features a magnetic contact for convenient storage directly on the device. The height of the fan can be adjusted from 110.8 cm to 140.8 cm.
