Thanks to the cool-touch base, the pot can be placed on any surface. The EMK 6 Alicia keeps the mocha warm for 30 minutes. When the pot is lifted, the keep-warm function automatically turns off. When the pot is placed back on the base, the keep-warm function reactivates for another 30 minutes after the power switch is turned on.
