SGP N and SGP I are equipped with sensitive indicators for light reflection that vary depending on the moisture content of the refrigerant. SGP I is suitable for refrigerants with mineral oil, such as HCFCs. It indicates a high moisture content in the refrigeration system, a lack of subcooling, or refrigerant shortage. SGP I is available with flare or solder connections. SGP N is suitable for non-flammable refrigerants such as HFCs and also indicates a high moisture content in the refrigeration system, a lack of subcooling, or refrigerant shortage. SGP N is also available with flare or solder connections. SGP X, without a moisture indicator, indicates a lack of subcooling, refrigerant shortage, liquid level in the system, or oil level in the compressor. It is primarily used to indicate the condition of the refrigerant as well as the fill level in the system or the oil level in the compressor. SGP X is available with flare or solder connections.
