Spice mill in yellow color. Suitable for spices. Made from biocomposite SPB30. Operation mode: manual. Equipped with a patented CrushGrind mechanism. Dimensions (D x H): 6.1 x 11.6 cm.

The Billund series is based on a biocomposite material primarily made from a certified sustainable bio-composite with a low carbon footprint. The biocomposite consists of almost 100% renewable materials and is made up of two main components: approximately 30% cellulose fibers sourced from certified sustainably managed forests, and about 70% crude tall oil, a byproduct of pulp production.

Unlike plant-based biomaterials, this bio-composite does not interfere with the food production chain. Additionally, the material gives the products a warm, natural, and earthy appearance.

The product is made from at least 80% bio-based plastic. Bio-based plastics are produced from renewable carbon resources (components of wood and plant biomass). The combustion of such plastics is CO2-neutral, as photosynthesis converts the generated CO2 back into biomass. These plastics are not necessarily biodegradable.
