Product details

Single-strand macramé cord made from 80% recycled cotton and 20% polyester. Ideal for knotting smaller objects such as dream catchers, hoops, keychains, and more. This cord is perfect for macramé projects that require a brushed look. Macramé is a very old technique where sturdy yarn or cord is tied into various types of knots to create different patterns and designs. Instructional videos demonstrate how to make some of these knots. Macramé requires almost no tools other than thread or cord. However, it is recommended to use a clipboard with a clamp to secure the yarn strands while working. Finally, the loose thread ends can be frayed, combed with a coarse comb, and possibly trimmed to create pretty fringes.
