Three-ply macramé cord made from 80% recycled cotton and 20% polyester. The sturdy cord is ideal for braiding larger objects such as wall decorations, hanging planters, and shopping nets. Macramé is an ancient technique that involves intertwining various types of knots into patterns using strong yarn or cord. The technique videos demonstrate how to work the knots. In addition to macramé yarn cord, only a few materials are needed. It is helpful to secure the braiding strands with clips on a clipboard. Once the braiding is complete, the ends can be combed out like fringes with a comb.
