Continenta Schneidebrett Duracore

Duracore is the sustainable recycled material from Continenta. The high-strength wood-paper fibre combines all the good properties: extremely resilient, heat-resistant up to 180 °C and dishwasher-safe, as well as being gentle on knives and particularly hygienic. It is the perfect material for a chopping board. Light soiling can be wiped off with a damp cloth. For more intensive cleaning by hand, use warm water and washing-up liquid or put it in the dishwasher. Then leave to dry completely standing upright. Visible cut marks can be minimised by oiling. We recommend Continenta wood balm for this. If necessary - if the surface appears rough and dull - carefully smooth it with fine-grained sandpaper. Then remove the sanding residue thoroughly. Then oil the clean and completely dry chopping board evenly. We recommend Continenta wood balm for this. Leave the chopping board to dry upright overnight. Wipe off any excess oil with a kitchen towel.
