Continenta Duracore cutting board

Duracore is the sustainable recycling material from Continenta. The high-strength wood-paper fiber combines all the good properties: extremely durable, heat-resistant up to 180 °C, and dishwasher-safe, while being gentle on knives and particularly hygienic. It is the perfect material for a cutting board. Light soiling can be wiped off with a damp cloth. For more intensive cleaning, use warm water and dish soap by hand or place it in the dishwasher. Afterward, let it dry completely in an upright position. Visible cut marks can be visually minimized by oiling. We recommend using Continenta Wood Balm for this purpose. If needed – when the surface appears rough and dull – gently smooth it with fine-grit sandpaper. Then thoroughly remove any sanding residues. Next, evenly oil the clean and completely dry cutting board. We recommend using Continenta Wood Balm for this as well. Let the cutting board dry upright overnight. Any excess oil can be wiped off with a kitchen towel.
