The cold zone technology features a heating coil that is placed directly in the fat for quick heating and low-odor frying. It includes a continuously adjustable thermostat with a control light and a lid with a viewing window. The product also has a replaceable odor and grease filter, a removable stainless steel grease container, and a detachable stainless steel heating coil.
