The bamboo version is made from Moso bamboo, the largest and strongest species of bamboo in the world. Its unique properties are one of the secrets of ChiaoGoo bamboo needles. The bamboo achieves a patina effect through a special finishing process involving thermal treatment.

The needle size is permanently laser-engraved on each needle and cap. The patina color is achieved through thermal heat.
