The interchangeable SPIN Bamboo Patina needle tips are made from Chinese Moso bamboo, which is considered the largest and strongest bamboo in the world. It only reaches its optimal height of up to 30 meters in China. Its special properties are one of the secrets of ChiaoGoo bamboo needles. The bamboo acquires its patina through a special refinement process involving thermal treatment.
