The centrepiece of this "Orenji" tea ceremony set is the midnight blue matcha bowl with its deliberately irregular shape and wavy rim, which represents the hilly landscape of Japan, and the glaze is a very dark, almost black "midnight blue" with an ice-encrusted rim.This dark, cool colouring creates an interesting contrast to the light green, hot matcha.the relatively large bowl has a diameter of 12 cm and a height of 8 cm.with a volume of approx. 435 ml, the bowl offers enough space to whisk the matcha tea until it is nice and frothy. each matcha bowl is unique in colour and shape.
