Broste Copenhagen Limfjord Tableware Series

Limfjord Dinnerware Series. Inspired by the coastal landscape and the secrets of the seabed in the long stretch of the strait between the Jutland Peninsula and the northern Danish island of Vendsyssel-Thy, Broste Copenhagen captures the organic shapes and soft color tones of the exposed limestone as well as the naturally occurring shell and oyster beds. The dinnerware series is handcrafted, which means that the pieces, made from both matte stoneware and transparent glass, exhibit small irregularities in shape and color. Nevertheless, the dinnerware is microwave and dishwasher safe.

Limfjord Bowl. The bowl features a classic round shape, with an irregular rim that makes it incredibly easy to grip. The stoneware is coated with a reactive glaze that creates a matte, naturally flowing patina on the surface during firing. In terms of size, the bowl is suitable either as a generous soup plate or a medium-sized salad bowl.
