Broste Copenhagen Limfjord Tableware Series

Limfjord tableware series. Inspired by the coastal landscape and the secrets of the seabed in the elongated sound between the Jutland peninsula and the northern Danish island of Vendsyssel-Thy: Broste Copenhagen picks up on the organic shapes and soft hues of the outcropping limestone (Danish "limsten") and the naturally occurring mussel and oyster beds. The tableware series is handmade, which is why the tableware pieces made of both matt stoneware and transparent glass show small irregularities in shape and colour. Nevertheless, the tableware is microwave and dishwasher safe.

Limfjord Carafe. Like water glistening in the sun, the natural shape reflects the light. Despite the lack of a handle, its intentional irregularities make the carafe easier to grip and hold. A small spout facilitates pouring from the glass jug.
