The tap water flows through the filter cartridge by gravity, which contains a mixture of ion exchange resin and activated carbon. The result is soft, delicious water for pure enjoyment. At the same time, you protect your kitchen appliances like kettles and coffee machines from limescale buildup. A new PerfectFit system with a valve ensures that the BRITA MAXTRA+ filter cartridge fits perfectly in the funnel, allowing all the water to be reliably filtered without any bypass. The Aluna features a "BRITA Memo" that indicates when the filter cartridge needs to be replaced. One filter cartridge lasts for 4 weeks or 100 liters.
